Hector is a grumpy history major in his 7th year of university. He runs a scrappy mystery podcast about the happenings in and around the town of Chester. He has a makeshift Sherlock costume he uses whenever he podcasts. Most of his days are spent running around campus grounds, snooping around mystery hot spots, and occasionally checks in on the student body press— of which he is the chief. Apparently nobody had thought of a clause that could demote a student if they've passed the 4-year study limit, and the members (approx. 4 other people) don't mind, so he stays holding that title. Hector enjoys the status of university student and the perks of being chief of student press, but he really ought to finish his studies by now and get a real job. Speaking of which, Hector is also dating Gabriel, a senior from the same university who has long graduated and landed a teaching job.
Hector has what I call his Sherlock Holmes fit, a checkered orange suit stained with ketchup and hot sauce. He fashions it with a monocle and hat. He has tight brown curls and upturned eyes. His eyebrows are thick and set low on his face. I sometimes forget this but his original muse was Hyunjin from Stray Kids.
